Postdoctoral Research and Research Fellow Openings
Postdoctoral research or Research fellow positions are available in the Chemical Biology Research Center, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wenzhou Medical University, in the areas of Tumor biology, Molecular pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or Metabolic diseases.
Primary objectives include: 1) pharmacological and pharmacokinetic study of active synthetic compounds in inflammatory diseases and cancer; 2) to explore the novel relationship between disease and target using the small-molecule inhibitor as chemical probe; 3) to construct and obtain new recombinant target proteins as well their mutations using molecular biology methods; to investigate the binding mechanism of ligand-receptor interactions through structural biology methods.
Ideally, the candidate will have additional expertise in more than one of the following areas: Tumor biology, Molecular pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or Metabolic diseases. Responsibilities will include development and execution of experiments, data analysis, manuscript preparation, presentation of results, and working with collaborators and other members of the research team at CBRC, Wenzhou Medical University.
Requirements:
1. Applicant must have a doctoral degree from universities home and abroad.
2. Applicant who boasts excellent academic ability and has issued academic papers on international journals will be considered.
3. Applicant must have enthusiasm for higher education and scientific research as well as rigorous academic attitude and good team work spirit.
4. Applicant should be under age 40 and physically and psychologically healthy.
Compensations:
100,000-300,000 RMB (pre-tax); allowance; and other WMU staff benefits.
